A Little Slice of Comma

If there is anywhere that I long to be at during these upcoming spring days, it is at Carson City's very own, Comma Coffee. There has never been another coffee shop that has amazed me more than this one. Located right in front of the Nevada Legislative Building along Carson Street, this little eclectic coffee house is full of quirky knacks along the walls, amazing lunch specials, and true homemade bran muffins. Must I also say that the cappuccinos are delish! This place is perfect for a summer lunch outside in their patio seating, or a cozy date night inside during those winter months with a cup of hot cocoa. I discovered this magical place during a "business/work" trip to Carson City. One of my rad friends kept raving about this place nonstop assuring me that I would love it. We came for lunch both days and I came back during dinner for an Art Reception the next night. (How could I stay back at the hotel, when there was a free art showcase going on!?) I sat there endlessly reading my book alongside a hot foaming cappuccino staring into the greenery bliss & blooming flowers. Staff is as friendly as can be, one of the girls even posed for one of my pictures! There is truly no other place like this ANYWHERE (& I live in Vegas!) It is coffeehouse perfection at it's finest. If I had endless amounts of cash, I would travel here every week to get my daily dose of Comma. If you live in Carson or Reno, my blood boils with envy, because this hole in the wall holds a very special place in my heart, and I live 600 miles away. Can't wait till I set foot in there again! (: I promise it will be soon, but in the meantime, I will settle with the occasional Madhouse Coffee run and will keep on recommending this place endlessly to anyone who wants a little piece of heaven on earth. (:

Elsa, I will forever be grateful for taking me to this blissful place <3
