Nutella Hot Chocolate Recipe!

So as the weather gets colder and jackets & sweaters start making their debut, only one thing comes to mind:

I don't drink too many hot beverages during June or July, simply because its already 110 degrees why would I want to add to that? However, once Halloween weekend starts rolling around I'm all over cute mugs filled with warm hearty awesomeness. Whether it be tea, coffee, or hot chocolate; curling up with a mug of any that I mentioned above to read a book, or watch an episode of "The Mentalist" is what the colder season is all about! (:

Below is a recipe I use for Homemade Nutella Hot Chocolate. Simple and easy!

For 1 serving you will need: (if you want to do more than 1 serving; just add another portion of the ingredient asked. ie; 3 servings will need 3 cups of milk, etc.)

-Milk (1 cup: any kind will work; if you are vegetarian/vegan I find Almond milk works best)

-Nutella (1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons for your average sweetness; more or less depending if you like it sweet or not)

-Ground Cinnamon (a pinch)

-A stove and saucepan

-Whipped Cream & Cinnamon Stick/s for added pizazz!

Step 1:

Go ahead and place the milk in the saucepan on low heat and still until warm. Then add the 2 tablespoons of Nutella and stir.

Step 2:

Once the Nutella has melted into the milk; go ahead and stir in a pinch of cinnamon (: Keep stirring for another 30 seconds to a minute (don't overheat or the milk will burn!)

Step 3:

Pour into a mug and garnish with whipped cream and a cinnamon stick!

And there you have it! Quick and simple homemade Nutella chocolate (:

This goes great with pastries, cookies, or simply on its own on that chilly night where you want to just curl up with a cup of hot chocolatey hazelnut goodness!
